21/06/2012 – Entre el 31 de mayo y el 10 de junio, la ciudad francesa de Belfort fue anfitriona del Campeonato de Francia por Equipos 2012 "Top 12". Fue un torneo cerrado con 11 equipos. Se coronó campeón el Clichy (con Vassily Ivanchuk, Laurent Fressinet, Loek Van Wely, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Hamdouchi, Pavel Tregubov, Yannick Pelletier, Delormé y Almira Skripchenko) con diez victorias (30 puntos), por delante de Chalons en Champagne (26 puntos) y del Evry Grand Roque y Marseille Echecs (25 puntos) El mejor jugador fue Michael Krasenkov con 9 victorias en 10 rondas.
