El himno de Tony Britton para la UEFA se parece mucho a la composición de Händel llamada "Zadok, the Priest". La cadena alemana de televisión MDR (Mitteldeuscher Rundfunk) ha elegido a Händel como patrón para su competición de composiciones. La cadena de televisión alemana "Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk" ha organizado una competición de composiciones musicales para escolares de los estados federales de Sajonia, Sajonia-Anhalt y Turingia con el título "El experimento Händel".
¿Por qué Händel?
Según se informa en el sitio web de la MDR, la razón por la que se ha optado por Georg Friedrich Händel como "patrón" para la acción es la siguiente:
"La iniciativa de la ARD "Experimento Händel" tiene como lema "Haz famoso a tu colegio" y se dirige a los escolares alemanes a partir de 11 años y sus profesores. La idea es tratar el tema de las composiciones musicales en las clases de música de tal manera que sea especialmente interesante e interactivo. El "Experimento Händel" facilita de materiales informativos a las clases y también hay tutoriales en YouTube y emisiones sobre el tema en otros sitios de Internet, en la radio y en la televisión. (La ARD es el primer canal de la televisión estatal). Todas las composiciones se pueden escuchar en la página web del Experimento Händel.

Habrá tutoriales y talleres para aprender a componer con el programa musical de ChessBase, "Ludwig 3".
El inventor y programadores nuestro jefe de programadores y copropietario de la empresa, Matthias Wüllenweber. Junto con el compositor Stephan König, de Leipzig, enseñará cómo hay que hacer para componer con la ayuda de Ludwig 3 con el ejemplo de la música de Georg Friedrich Händel y también como los profesores de música podrán utilizar el programa de manera útil, para dar las clases de música en el colegio.
