Copa de Europa de Clubes 2004

09/10/2004 – El NAO de París, patrocinado por la señora Nahed Ojjeh, ganó este año el título, al que era gran favorito, fomando con Adams, Grischuk, Bacrot, Vallejo, Lautier, Radjabov, Fressinet y Nataf. En segunda posición quedó el Bosna Sarajevo (Shirov, Short, Sokolov, Bologan, Movsesian, Kozul, Atalik, Predojevic) y la tercera plaza se la anotó el Ladya Kazan (Rublevsky, Yandemirov, Timofeev, Filippov, Iljin, Hasangatin, Kharlov). Además de los dos españoles que formaron en los equipos campeón y subcampeón, el Tiendas UPI terminó en noveno lugary el Valencia Cuna del Ajedrez el decimosépitimo, de un total de 36 clubes. El título femenino fue para el  Tiblisi ( Dzagnidze, Lomineishvili, Javakhishvili, Matnadze, Gvetadze) Página del torneo.
