25/01/2004 – Diversos acontecimientos se sucenden en la ciudad brasileira de Sao Paulo con ocasión de su 450 aniversario. Por un lado, la Copa Itaú, en la que es líder en solitario el GM uruguayo Andrés Rodríguez, cuando sólo falta una ronda para concluir, aunque tiene a 5 jugadores a medio punto. Por otra parte también se disputará hoy día 25 un torneo de partidas relámpago. Tras la iniciativa está la Federação Paulista de Xadrez y el Clube de Xadrez São Paulo ¡Felicidades Sao Paulo!
