Copa Itaú 2003

07/10/2003 – La VII edición de la Copa Itaú, organizada por el Club de Xadrez São Paulo entre el 27 de septiembre y el 5 de octubre, contó con la participación de 199 jugadores. La victoria fue para el local Gilberto Milos, que inscribe así por segunda vez su nombre en el palmarés de los vencedores. Llegó al final de las nueve rondas totalizando 7,5 puntos, los mismos que su compatriota Carlos Rocha y que el paraguayo José Fernando Cubas, a los que superó por mejor coeficiente de desempate.
