En una siciliana, Vladimir no dio ningún resquicio a Teimur y logró anotarse el punto en 31 jugadas. Cinco horas y media y 57 jugadas les llevó a Vishy y Peter firmar las tablas. La joven promesa local Arkadij Naiditsch resistió durante 63 jugadas al moldavo Viorel Bologan, pero al final tuvo que inclinar su monarca. A la página web oficial.
