26/08/2002 – En la Olimpiada de Ajedrez de Bled (25-10 a 11-11) la selección alemana tendrá difícil reeditar la medalla de plata lograda en Estambul en 2000, pues dos figuras míticas del ajedrez germano, Artur Jussupov y Robert Hübner, no acudirán. Los motivos hay que buscarlos en su descontento con la política del organismo internacional y los cambios en las condiciones de juego (controles de tiempo, controles antidoping, etc.) Tiene la lista de seleccionados aquí.
