Dreev y Shirov líderes en Poikovsky

27/03/2006 – En la séptima ronda del Torneo Karpov en Poikovsky, Dreev alcanzó al anterior líder del torneo Alexei Shirov gracias a su victoria sobre Bologan. Ahora ambos jugadores están al frente de la clasificación con 4,5 puntos y una ventaja de medio punto frente a Ponomariov y Zvaginsev. Está resultando un torneo muy igualado pero altamente competitivo. De las 35 partidas celebradas hasta ahora, 22 terminaron en tablas, pero sólo pocas carecieron de lucha.
