El duelo del siglo
El así llamado "duelo del siglo", el desafío "URSS vs. el Resto del Mundo", disputado en Belgrado, Yugoslavia inspira al mundo.
La artista japonesa de "performance", Yoko Ono, ya unos años atrás había diseñado un tablero de ajedrez especial: el "White Chess Board". Su recomendación: "Play it with Trust" o sea que, ¡juégalo con (auto-)confianza!
De momento aún queda claro qué pieza es de qué bando, pero...
O sea que, muy buen momento, aquel del duelo, para volver a sacar el tablero. Tal y como se puede ver en la siguiente fotografía, también el novio de Yoko Ono, John Lennon de los Beatles se animó a jugar al ajedrez con ella.

Pero no solamente los Beatles jugaban al ajedrez. También el músico Robert Plant era un gran aficionado. Tocaba con los los Yardbirds antes de llegar a ser el co-fundador del grupo de rock, Led Zeppelin.
