04/10/2007 – Entre el 26 y el 28 de octubre tendrá lugar un duelo a partidas rápidas entre los actuales 2º y 5º de la lista mundial, Vassily Ivanchuk (Ucrania) y Peter Leko (Hungría) Jugarán 12 partidas a un ritmo de 15 minutos más 10 segundos por jugada. Sucederá en Mukachevo, un lugar de los Cárpatos que es famoso, entre otras cosas, por su castillo, en el que se han filmado muchas películas. No obstante, las partidas se celebrarán en teatro "Peremoha". Transcarpatia, actual provincia de Ucrania occidental, perteneció a Hungría hasta 1918.
