La 40.ª Copa Europea de Clubes y la 29.ª Copa Europea Femenina de Clubes comienzan este fin de semana en la isla griega de Rodas, reuniendo a 122 equipos de todo el continente. El evento cuenta con la participación de 102 clubes en la sección abierta y 20 en la femenina, sumando alrededor de 800 jugadores que competirán a lo largo de siete rondas.
Ambos torneos se disputan bajo el sistema suizo a 7 rondas, con un control de tiempo de 90 minutos para las primeras 30 jugadas, seguido de 30 minutos adicionales para finalizar la partida, más un incremento de 30 segundos por jugada desde el inicio.
Las rondas se juegan diariamente desde el domingo 19 de octubre hasta el sábado 25 de octubre, comenzando a las 15:00 hora local (excepto la ronda final, que empieza una hora más temprano de lo normal).
