Festival de Ajedrez de Cañada de Calatrava

08/03/2007 – Entre el 6 y el 8 de abril, el municipio de la provincia de Ciudad Real acogerá la segunda edición del festival de ajedrez que lleva su nombre. Incluirá un torneo internacional con la participación de unos 240 jugadores en total, entre los que estará una selección de los mejores del mundo (Anand, Mamedyarov, Ivanchuk, Aronian, Gelfand, Svidler, Polgar...). La bolsa total de premios asciende a 120.000 euros. El campeón del año pasado fue Alexander Grischuk (foto). Además, habrá un torneo de ajedrez Fischer y otro relámpago.
