FIDE: Grand Prix y Hombre - Máquina

04/11/2001 – En una rueda de prensa en los locales del club de fútbol Chelsea en Londres (con Vishy Anand presente), la FIDE ha anunciado que desarrollará un Grand Prix de partidas rápidas en 2002 con 2.5 millones de dólares junto con un enfrentamiento hombre – máquina entre el próximo campeón del mundo FIDE y un programa de ajedrez aún por determinar.
