24/08/2024 – En su nuevo programa "Game Of The Week", Merijn van Delft "destripa" y festeja la victoria conquistada por un buen amigo suyo y compatriota, en el Sparkassen Chess Trophzy en Dortmund, Nico Zwirs. Dado que la decisiva victoria de Zwirs en la última ronda sobre Christopher Yoo será tratada por Karsten Müller en su programa Endgame Magic, Merijn se centra en la dura batalla Korobov-Zwirs. Las blancas estaban jugando una partida modélica hasta que se requirieron algunas medidas bastante inusuales para progresar. Entonces las cosas se complicaron bastante.
