Ganguly gana el Fujairah Masters 2012

22/11/2012 – Entre el 13 y el 21 de noviembre el emirato árabe de Fujairah ha sido anfitrión de un torneo abierto muy fuerte, el Fujairah Masters. Entre los 58 participantes había jugadores como Baadur Jobava, Le Quang Liem y Etienne Bacrot. Sin embargo, sorprendentemente, ninguno de los supergrandes maestros consiguió clasificarse entre los tres primeros. Fueron Shekhar Ganguly y Chanda Sandipan, dos grandes maestros indios, quienes se ubicaron en los puestos uno y tres. Alexander Moissenko ocupó la segunda plaza. Los tres totalizaron 6,5 puntos.
