Los organizadores del torneo son la Federación de Ajedrez de Rostov, junto con la FIDE y Global Chess. El lugar del torneo, que se celebra entre el 1 de agosto (llegada de las jugadoras e inauguración) y el 15 de agosto (salida de las jugadoras), es el
hotel Don Plaza. Se trata de una competición a 11 rondas entre el 2 y el 14 de agosto, con días de descanso los días 6 y 11 de agosto. Las 10 primeras partidas comienzan a las 15:00 hora local y la última ronda será a las 12:00 hora local. Los días de descanso están programados para el 6 de agosto (tras la cuarta ronda) y el 11 de agosto (tras la octava ronda). La ganadora recibirá un premio de 6.500 euros en metálico y
la bolsa total de premios asciende a 40.000 euros.
