Koneru Humpy se apuntó un triunfo con negras frente a Elisabeth Pähtz. Valentina Gunina y Pia Cramling triunfaron con blancas frente a Kateryna Lagno y Marie Sebag, respectivamente. Los encuentros Aleksandra Goryachkina vs. Alina Kashlinskaya y Antoaneta Stefanova vs. Harika Dronavalli concluyeron en tablas.
