Ambos torneos son abiertos suizos a 11 rondas con control de tiempo clásico. Ronda 11
El Gran Suizo y el Gran Suizo Femenino de la FIDE son torneos abiertos a 11 rondas con un control de tiempo de 100 minutos para las primeras 40 jugadas, seguidas de 50 minutos para las siguientes 20 jugadas y 15 minutos para el resto de la partida, con un incremento de 30 segundos desde la primera jugada.
En ambos torneos hay dos plazas en juego para los Torneos de Candidatos de 2026.
Según el reglamento del torneo, el primer criterio de desempate para los jugadores con el mismo número de puntos es el rating medio de los oponentes -1 (AROC 1), lo que significa que el rating del oponente con el Elo más bajo se descarta en el cálculo.
Las rondas se disputarán diariamente desde el jueves 4 de septiembre hasta el lunes 15 de septiembre, excepto el miércoles 10 de septiembre, que será día de descanso.
