Ha comenzado el 'Torneo Regilor' 2009 en Bazna

15/06/2009 – Ayer se disputó la primera ronda del "Turneul Regilor 2009", el "Torneo de los Reyes", que se está celebrando en Bazna (Rumanía) entre el 13 y el 25 de junio, con motivo del centenario de la empresa rumana de petróleo, Romgaz. Los participantes en este torneo cerrado son seis jugadores de primera fila mundial: Alexei Shirov, Vasily Ivanchuk, Boris Gelfand, Teimour Radjabov, Gata Kamsky y Dieter Liviu Nisipeanu. En la primera ronda de ayer, Ivanchuk y Shirov se apuntaron victorias con negras en sus partidas contra Nisipeanu y Kamsky, respectivamente, quizá para demostrar que ¡se acabó con la mala racha! (Ivanchuk ha perdido muchos puntos Elo al comienzo del año y Shirov recientemente ocupó el último lugar en el torneo Karpov Poikovsky). El duelo Boris Gelfand vs. Teimour Radjabov terminó en empate.
