27/12/2010 – Entre el 28 de diciembre de 2010 y el 5 de enero de 2011 se celebrará el Congreso de Ajedrez de Hastings. No hay ninguna tradición más antigua que el Torneo Internacional de Hastings. La primera edición se disputó en 1895 y el acontecimiento se convirtió en una cita anual en la década de 1920 que se ha mantenido desde entonces, con la excepción del período comprendido entre 1940-44 como consecuencia de la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
