En esta entrevista, Federico Madeo conversa con el gran maestro sueco Ulf Andersson, una auténtica leyenda del ajedrez mundial. A lo largo del diálogo, Andersson repasa con detalle su trayectoria, evocando recuerdos y anécdotas junto a nombres inmortales como Bobby Fischer, Mikhail Tal, Anatoly Karpov, Garry Kasparov, Miguel Quinteros, Iván Morovic, Vasily Smyslov, Pia Cramling, Arturo Pomar, Oscar Panno, Miguel Najdorf, entre otros. Su memoria prodigiosa nos transporta a épocas doradas del ajedrez, ofreciendo una mirada íntima a las personalidades y estilos que marcaron distintas generaciones.
Andersson rememora también su participación en el histórico match URSS vs. Resto del Mundo de 1984 y confiesa que, si Fischer le hubiera pedido el primer tablero, él se lo habría cedido sin dudar. Además, repasa su extenso recorrido olímpico entre 1970 y 2004, así como su participación en los torneos Magistrales Clarín. Cada episodio de su carrera refleja un equilibrio entre respeto por el rival y una férrea determinación competitiva.
