diez mejores del mundo: Magnus Carlsen (nº 1, Noruega), Hikaru Nakamura (nº 7, EE.UU.) y Alexander Morozevich (nº 9, Rusia)
Con el chino Wang Hao, son cuatro entre los quince mejores. El francés Etienne Bacrot y el holandés Anish Giri
(que
acaba de coronarse Campeón de Holanda por tercera vez) completan el plantel. Magnus sustituye a Leinier Domínguez
y participará en el torneo de ajedrez relámpago. A partir del 23 de julio jugará en el torneo principal donde
