25/08/2004 – El duelo de ajedrez cibernético entre Hydra y Shredder que se disputó enmarcado dentro del XIV Festival de Ajedrez de Abu Dhabi se decidió con claridad a favor del primero de los citados por un marcador de 5,5 a 2,5. El sistema financiado por el PAL Group of companies se adjudicó la séptima partida, mostrando a todos los aficionados y expertos que hay que contar con él de cara al futuro. En octubre, en Bilbao, participará en el I Mundial de Personas contra Ordenadores.
