II Copa Latinoamericana de Ajedrez en Uruguay

25/08/2011 – La Federación Uruguaya de Ajedrez comunica que el presidente de la FIDE Kirsan Ilyumzhinov ha les confiado II Copa Latinoamericana de Ajedrez. "Queremos manifestar nuestro orgullo por esta designación en la que podrán participar todos los ajedrecistas de Latinoamérica representantes de las zonas de FIDE América 2.3, 2.4 y 2.5 y repartirá 27.500 dólares en premios". Tendrá lugar del 1 al 6 de noviembre de 2011 en la ciudad de Montevideo, capital de la República Oriental y se usará un formato abierto para todos los jugadores con y sin Elo FIDE, de las mencionadas zonas.
