II Festival de Benidorm

27/11/2003 – Ya se han alcanzado las seis rondas en los torneos de aficionados del II Festival Internacional de Ajedrez de Benidorm. En el grupo A es líder el ruso Denis Kutuzov, con 5,5 puntos, seguido de siete jugadores a medio punto. En el grupo B hay un triple empate en el primer puesto entre Julio Salgado, José Luis Arias y Diego Martínez. En la página de Árbitros de Ajedrez tiene reportajes ilustrados. En el torneo de blitz se impuso Alexandru Manea y en el de selecciones autonómicas el equipo A de la Comunidad Valenciana. A partir del jueves 27 y hasta el sábado 29 se disputará el Torneo de las Estrellas, que cuenta con Karpov, Topalov, Radjabov, Kariakin, Anand, Judit Polgar, Vallejo, Azmaiparashvili, Mamedyarov, Tiger Person, Graf y Romero.
