28/02/2023 – Ilamparthi A R, vigente Campeón del Mundo sub-14, ganó el torneo WR Chess Junior, igualmente en la categoría absoluta sub-14 con el marcador inmaculado de 5 puntos de 5 posibles. Asímismo se ha coronado campeón del torneo de ajedrez relámpago. Estos triunfos sucedieron sólo 11 días después de que obtuviera el título de maestro internacional, el más reciente de India, en el 21º Festival de Ajedrez de Rochefort 2023. Ilamparthi, junto con otros participantes del torneo juvenil, atendió a una clase magistral a cargo del ex campeón del mundo, el legendario GM Boris Gelfand, y de la número 1 alemana, la GM Elisabeth Paehtz.
