01/11/2003 – Octubre de 2003 se ha llevado consigo al decano del ajedrez español. Si el ajedrez ha alcanzado reconocimiento como un deporte de caballeros, se debe principalmente a figuras como la de Antonio Medina. Este ilustre Maestro Internacional, siete veces campeón de España, ha dejado impronta en la historia del juego por su modestia, deportividad y honradez, cualidades que le valieron el respeto unánime incluso por parte de quienes fueron sus rivales frente al tablero.
