IV Memorial Staunton en Londres

16/08/2006 – Del 14 al 25 de agosto se disputa el IV Memorial Howard Staunton en honor del británico campeón del mundo oficioso (1843-1851), organizador de torneos y experto en Shakespeare. Uno de los lugares de celebración de las partidas es el restaurante Simpson´s-in-the-Strand, el mismo donde Staunton organizó el primer torneo internacional en 1851. Las últimas cinco rondas se disputan en el Wellington College, donde más adelante se celebrará el Campeonato de la OTAN. El favorito atendiendo al Elo es Michael Adams. Partidas y resultados...
