Jobava gana la II Copa Samba
24/10/2005 – En la última ronda del torneo, el joven georgiano Baadur Jobava logró imponerse a quien iba líder hasta ese momento, el polaco Kamil Miton, y de ese modo se adjudicó el triunfo en el último suspiro, al totalizar 5,5 puntos en 9 rondas. La segunda edición de la Copa Samba se disputó en Skanderborg entre el 14 y el 23 de octubre. Los inmediatos perseguidores, que terminaron con medio punto de desventaja, fueron Lázaro Bruzón, Pengxiang Zhang, Kamil Miton y Aertyom Timofeev. El favorito por puntuación Elo, Vassiliy Ivanchuk, sólo ocupó el sexto lugar, con un resultado de 4,5 puntos, medio por delante del niño prodigio noruego Magnus Carlsen. Tabla final y partidas...
