28/05/2025 – La III Jornada de Ajedrez, Inteligencia Artificial y Ciberseguridad, organizada por INCIBE y el Magistral de Ajedrez Ciudad de León, combinó divulgación tecnológica, promoción del ajedrez y concienciación sobre ciberseguridad. Con ponencias, partidas simultáneas y un hackeo en tiempo real, el evento destacó la conexión entre ajedrez e innovación digital, al tiempo que hizo un llamado a incorporar más talento femenino en ambos campos. Una jornada dinámica que unió estrategia, conocimiento y seguridad en el entorno digital.

El Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad de España, INCIBE, y el Torneo Magistral de Ajedrez Ciudad de León celebraron la III Jornada de Ajedrez, Inteligencia Artificial y Ciberseguridad.
El barrio «ciber» de La Lastra acogió una exhibición de partidas simultáneas que enfrentó a 25 aficionados con el GM Pepe Cuenca y la maestra FIDE María Eizaguerri.
Quienes han acudido a la Jornada, presentada por el conocido divulgador de ajedrez Leontxo García y la maestra de ajedrez María Eizaguerri, han disfrutado de ponencias sobre la revolución de internet, la eclosión de la IA, la irrupción femenina en el ajedrez, intervenciones de expertos de INCIBE dedicadas a dar a conocer muchos de los servicios que INCIBE ofrece a la ciudadanía en materia de Ciberseguridad, así como un hackeo en tiempo real.
El Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad de España (INCIBE) y el Magistral de Ajedrez Ciudad de León han puesto el foco en la revolución de la Inteligencia Artificial y han hecho una llamada para reclutar talento femenino tanto en el ámbito del ajedrez como en el de la ciberseguridad.
Así lo han trasladado en la III Jornada de Ajedrez, Inteligencia Artificial y Ciberseguridad que se celebró en León en la sede de INCIBE, que se ha retransmitido en directo y permanecerá disponible en su canal de YouTube. La bienvenida a la cita corrió a cargo de José Manuel Rebollal, subdirector del área «Jurídico, Desarrollo de Talento y RRHH» de INCIBE.
Quienes han acudido a la Jornada, presentada por el conocido divulgador de ajedrez Leontxo García y la maestra de ajedrez María Eizaguerri, han disfrutado de ponencias sobre la revolución de internet, la eclosión de la IA, la irrupción femenina en el ajedrez, intervenciones de expertos de INCIBE dedicadas a dar a conocer muchos de los servicios que INCIBE ofrece a la ciudadanía en materia de Ciberseguridad, así como un hackeo en tiempo real.
El director del Magistral, Marcelino Sión, ha apuntado que jornadas como esta desvelan al público «la importancia que ha tenido el ajedrez como laboratorio de pruebas en el desarrollo de proyectos de Inteligencia Artificial» y permiten además ofrecer consejos en materia de ciberseguridad. Así se ha demostrado en una partida online que se ha hackeado en directo durante la Jornada con el objetivo, recordó Sión, «de concienciar del gran valor que tiene disponer de contraseñas seguras para evitar sustos en cuestiones tan sensibles como nuestras cuentas bancarias y nuestras comunicaciones».
En el transcurso de las ponencias se ha abordado la labor crucial de INCIBE en esta materia y se han recordado los recursos disponibles para la ciudadanía, como el teléfono 017 para consultar y prevenir riesgos cibernéticos. Sión explicó que en esta jornada se ha querido hacer especial hincapié en la necesidad que hay de talento femenino de referencia tanto en el ámbito del ajedrez como en el de la ciberseguridad.
Son campos muy creativos, con una gran proyección de futuro y esperamos que nuestras niñas y jóvenes se animen y encuentren inspiración en jornadas como ésta.
A lo largo de la mañana, quienes acudieron al salón de actos de INCIBE pudieron disfrutar de distintas ponencias comentadas por dos personalidades del ámbito ajedrecístico: el periodista y experto en ajedrez Leontxo García y la maestra de ajedrez María Eizaguerri.
El público asistente pudo disfrutar de las siguientes ponencias:

Los asistentes también disfrutaron de varios sorteos de plazas para participar tanto en las simultáneas populares de la tarde, como en las simultáneas oficiales del Magistral de Ajedrez el próximo mes de julio, así como libros conmemorativos del Magistral firmados por los ponentes de la Jornada.
Además, a las 12.20 horas tuvo lugar la simulación de una partida y ataque de fuerza bruta (hackeo en tiempo real). María Eizaguerri y Pepe Cuenca jugaron una partida rápida en la plataforma de ajedrez Lichess (de uso gratuito). Por su parte, Ylenia Gallardo, técnica del Laboratorio de INCIBE, mostró cómo hackear su cuenta y la partida. Esto sirvió para recalcar la importancia de las contraseñas seguras.
Hector Láiz, de INCIBE, fue el encargado de cerrar las jornadas agradeciendo la participación del público tanto presencial como online.
