22/01/2004 – En las últimas elecciones el partido que respalda al presidente ruso, Vladimir Putin, obtuvo más de 300 escaños de los 450 de que consta la Duma. Ahora un grupo de liberales, entre los que se incluye el número uno del ajedrez mundial, Garry Kasparov, han renunciado a la lucha electoral que tendrá lugar el próximo mes de marzo y se plantean dar la batalla de cara a los comicios del 2008.
