06/09/2003 – La húngara Nikoletta Lakos, con 7,5 puntos sobre 10 posibles e invicta, ha sido la ganadora del torneo femenino celebrado entre el 26 de agosto y el 3 de septiembre en Punat, en la isla Croata del Adriático de nombre Krk, próxima a Rijeka, donde se dieron cita once jugadoras con una media de Elo de 2263.
