La ACP protesta ante la FIDE

29/05/2004 – Con motivo de la organización del Campeonato del Mundo a celebrar en Libia a partir del próximo 18 de junio y las sombras que se ciernen sobre la posibilidad de que los jugadores israelíes puedan participar, la Asociación de Profesionales del Ajedrez (Association of Chess Professionals) ha elevado una enérgica protesta a la FIDE por su estrategia a la hora de montar el torneo en el país norteafricano. La FIDE ha respondido publicando la lista definitiva de participantes, sin jugadores israelíes. En ella aparecen Paco Vallejo, Lenier Domínguez, Lázaro Bruzón, Gilberto Milos, Rubén Felgaer, Rafael Leitao, Daniel Campora, Darcy Lima y Rodrigo Vasquez. Más información.
