23/07/2001 – Una debilidad de algunos programas es que no valoran bien las posiciones de zugzwang, es decir, aquellas en las que la parte obligada a mover debe hacer necesariamente una jugada que empeora su posición. Shredder cuenta con un algoritmo especial para tener en cuenta adecuadamente esas situaciones. Su influencia en el rendimiento y velocidad del módulo no son apreciables, así que se aconseja mantener esta opción activa en los parámetros del módulo.
