04/06/2003 – Con CD de Deep Junior 8 se facilitan tres módulos: el propio Deep Junior 8, Deep Junior 8.YY y Deep Junior 8.XZ. Estos dos últimos son los que se enfrentaron a Kasparov en Nueva York. En concreto YY fue el que jugó la última partida. El módulo Deep Junior 8 es una versión perfeccionada de ellos, tras las lecciones obtenidas con su funcionamiento. Ya puede tener a un Campeón del Mundo como piedra de toque.
