La historia se desarolla en el Internacional Abierto de Budapest, donde Cal Fournier (Michelangelo Passaniti, de 22 años) y Campeón de Francia, derrota a sus oponetes con una fuerza increíble, siguiendo al pie de la letra las órdenes que le da su entrenador Viktor (Magne-Hàvard Brekke).

El protagonista: Cal Fournier

Pero de repente, un oponente totalmente diferente a todos los demás se cruza en la rutina de Fournier: Max (Adam Corbier), un joven húngaro de 11 años, iconoclasta e irreverente.
