Leiner Domínguez ganó la Copa de Ajedrez Rápido en San Petersburgo

09/10/2012 – El pasado fin de semana (5 a 7 de octubre de 2012) se disputó la Copa de Ajedrez Rápido, en San Petersburgo (Rusia) Se dieron cita los mejores jugadores de San Petersburgo y una selección de fuertes jugadores invitados con lo cual el torneo alcanzó la categoría XII (con un Elo medio de unos 2676 puntos) Fue el cubano Leinier Domínguez quien se alzó con la victoria del torneo, gracias a su mejor valoración de desempate que Peter Svidler. Ambos sumaron 7 puntos en 9 partidas. Svidler quedó invicto, pero cedió demasiadas tablas. Nikita Vitiugov ocupó el tercer lugar. Reportaje final...
