Levin ganó XXVII Abierto de Benasque

16/07/2007 – El gran maestro alemán Felix Levin se coronó por sorpresa en la última ronda como vencedor del XXVII Abierto Internacional de Benasque al derrotar al MI inglés Lawrence Trent. Levin empató a 8,5/10 con el GM georgiano Tamaz Geladhvili. Arkadij Rotstein quedó tercero. Baadur Jobava, que había liderado la tabla durante varias rondas, finalmente compartió los puestos del 4 al 6 con Nidjat Mamendov y Stanislav Savchenko. El primer español fue Mario Gómez y la mejor jugadora femenina, la GM búlgara Emilia Djingarova.
