Lista FIDE de abril

04/04/2004 – La FIDE ha publicado su lista de abril. En cuanto al número uno la novedad es que ha perdido parte de su ventaja. Al segundo puesto se ha encaramado Anand, en detrimento de Kramnik, ahora tercero. Alexei Shírov ha pegado un bajón desde el quinto al decimocuarto puesto. Paco Vallejo (2666, 35º) y Miguel Illescas ( 2623, 74º) son los otros dos españoles entre los 100 primeros. En cuanto a los latinoamericanos, el brasileño Vescovi salta del puesto 61 al 48 y el cubano Lenier Domínguez vuelve a entrar en la lista de los 100, en el lugar 92.
