Gran Prix de la FIDE 2012 en Londres
Entre el 20 de septiembre y el 4 de octubre, Londres será sede del primero de los seis torneos que forman parte de la nueva serie del Grand Prix de la FIDE 2012/13, organizado por AGON.
Allí 12 grandes maestros de la flor y nata mundial se verán las caras. Peter Svidler ha sido reemplazado por Michael Adams en el último momento porque
el ruso se ha tenido que retirar por asuntos familiares. Las partidas se juegan
en Simpson’s-in-the-Strand. Las partidas comienzan a las 14:00 hora local (15:00 CEST, 17:00
en Moscú, 09:00 en Nueva York) La bolsa de premios asciende a 240,000 euros.
