Mamedyarov, tras un ataque extraordinario con el peón "g" en la Defensa Bogoyubov, venció a Domínguez y ha tomado el liderato en solitario con 6 puntos. Gran Prix de la FIDE 2012 en Londres
Entre el 20 de septiembre y el 4 de octubre, Londres será sede del primero de los seis torneos que forman parte de la nueva serie del Grand Prix de la FIDE 2012/13, organizado por AGON.
