El ecuatoriano Carlos Matamoros y los chinos Yue Wang, Weiqi Zhou y Jun Zhao encabezan, con 6 puntos, el XXVIII Abierto de Sevilla a falta de dos rondas. Quince jugadores están a medio punto, por lo que nada está aún decidido. Entre ellos hay otros tres chinos. Tiviakov, Cifuentes, Korneev, Lalic, Cámpora, Pogorelov...
