Ahora, los dos ajedrecistas hispanos han hablado con ABC. «Algunos días nos quedábamos hasta las cuatro de la madrugada. Nuestro descanso llegaba cuando él jugaba», comentó Vallejo e Illescas afirmaba: «Es el único momento de respiro. Tienes la seguridad de que por lo menos en tres o cuatro horas no va aparecer».
