Tras llegar a una posición equilibrada al cabo de 14 jugadas, comenzó un baile estratégico para intentar desorientar al programa. Amagos por el flanco de dama, cierre del centro, ataque sobre el rey... Pero un desliz permite que Hiarcs, implacable siempre como corresponde a una máquina, reorganice su defensa y abra el juego. Aunque Bareev intentó volver a marear la perdiz, el programa no perdió el rumbo hacia las tablas. Mañana a las 13:00 CET (GMT + 1) se disputará la tercera partida.
