El equipo del OSG Baden-Baden ha ganado la Bundesliga Alemana de Ajedrez en 13 ocasiones. Son los favoritos también a la hora de conquistar el título del "Campeón de Alemania por Equipos 2020". Desde luego, el plantel no deja nada que desear: Fabiano Caruana, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Levon Aronian, Radoslaw Wojtastzek, Richard Rapport, Michael Adams, Francisco Vallejo y Etienne Bacrot. ¿Qué más se pudiera pedir?
Es posible que Levon Aronian no se vaya incorporando de manera activa dado que actualmente está participando en el torneo cibernético Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz.
