Participan ocho equipos de la Bundesliga Alemana para disputar el título del "Campeón de Alemania por equipos 2020". El equipo favorito, como no podría ser de otra manera, es el OSG Baden-Baden. El equipo del OSG Baden-Baden ha ganado la Bundesliga Alemana de Ajedrez en 13 ocasiones. Son los favoritos también a la hora de conquistar el título del "Campeón de Alemania por Equipos 2020".
