El sábado, Boris Gelfand se enfrenta a Andrey Esipenko en la segunda semifinal.
En cada una de las eliminatorias de juego se disputarán 4 partidas, de 20 minutos por jugador con un incremento de 10 segundos por jugada.
Si después de las 4 partidas, estas acaban con el marcador empatado, se decidirá el ganador con partidas rápidas a 5 minutos+ 3 segundos por jugada.
Si persistiera el empate, se jugará una partida por sistema Armagedón.
