Maxim Sorokin fallece tras un accidente de coche en Elista

03/07/2007 – El gran maestro ruso Maxim Sorokin, falleció el pasado sábado en el hospital de Elista tras sufrir un grave accidente de coche. Sorokin fue entrenador de Sergey Rublevsky durante los Encuentros de Candidatos y era entrenador jefe de la Escuela de Grandes Maestros en la capital de Kalmukia. La tragedia sucedió cuando se dirigía a Volgogrado. Fue ingresado en el hospital, donde recibió atención médica y sus heridas no fueron pronosticadas como de riesgo para su vida.
