Ganó el torneo de ajedrez rápido y quedó segundo en el de blitz, lo que le bastó para hacerse con el primer puesto de la general. Los otros dos puestos del podio fueron ocupados por Nodirbek Abdusattorov y Shakhriyar Mamedyarov.
