14/03/2003 – Para celebrar el XII Torneo Amber de partidas rápidas y a la ciega. Será entre el 15 y el 27 de marzo, en el Vista Palace Hôtel de Roquebrune Cap-Martin. El patrocinio corre por cuenta del mecenas J.J. van Oosterom. Los participantes de este año son, por ordn alfabético: Almasi, Anand, Bareev, Gelfand, Ivanchuk, Kramnik, Leko, Ljubojevic, Morozevich, Shirov, Topalov y Van Wely.
