04/08/2009 – El Campeonato de España Femenino 2009 se disputó en tierras castellano manchegas, en concreto en Almansa (Albacete), entre el 28 de julio y el 2 de agosto. La WGM balear partía segunda en el ranking inicial, pero ha demostrado bastante superioridad con respecto a sus rivales, ya que terminó el torneo invicta y con un punto de ventaja sobre sus perseguidoras.
